As many of you know, we’ve been awaiting a Supreme Court decision on the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case – the case that will determine the fate of legal abortion in the U.S.
Last night, we heard the breaking news from POLITICO that they obtained a leaked draft opinion written by Justice Alito which includes the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
First and foremost, we want to emphasize that abortion is still legal throughout the U.S. and that the leaked opinion from Justice Alito (while deeply alarming) is a DRAFT, not the final version.
Secondly, we’d like to highlight the following ways you can take action NOW to protect abortion access and promote reproductive justice in the South:
