Most recently, two lawsuits – Yellowhammer Fund v. Attorney General of Alabama Steve Marshall and West Alabama Women’s Center, et al. v. Marshall – were filed asking the federal court to intervene in attacks from Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall, who has threatened to criminalize people who help pregnant Alabamians leave the state to access legal abortion.
The panel discussion will delve into the current legal battles, the state of reproductive healthcare in Alabama post-Roe, and the effects of abortion bans in Alabama and across the South on both advocates and those giving birth.”
