Sen. Lindsey Graham has introduced a nationwide abortion ban in the US Senate that would ban ALL abortions past 15 weeks in the U.S.
We want to be very clear: ANY kind of abortion ban is harmful. Bans hurt those who need essential care, and affects marginalized people the most: folks who are BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, disabled, undocumented, low-income, young, and in need of help.
We also want to be clear that this bill demonstrates that no one is safe, not even in a “Blue State”. This is not a time to compromise and allow our rights to be further stripped away from us – this is a time to FIGHT BACK and tell the US Senate that you DO NOT SUPPORT any nationwide abortion bans at any point in pregnancy. By calling this proposed bill a “later term abortion” bill, Republicans are again lying about what abortion care is.
