Take Action to Protect IVF Access in Alabama

The unprecedented Alabama Supreme Court ruling that “frozen embryos are children” is already negatively affecting IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) access for Alabamians. We are seeing multiple clinics and the largest hospital in the state halting their IVF services due to fear of prosecution.

Abortion bans have always been about more than abortion alone. This is yet another example of the many dangerous ripple effects of Roe being overturned. This is about state control and the state using its power to tell people what they can and can’t do with their bodies.

The best way to protect IVF access long-term is to urge Alabama lawmakers to bring forth legislation to repeal the ‘Sanctity of Life’ Constitutional Amendment from 2018. As long as the amendment is in place, there’s a possibility that providers and patients could be prosecuted.

If you’re an Alabama resident, click here to take action NOW!
