#Fund-a-Fellow for YHF’s 2024 Spring Cohort!

Fund-A-Fellow 2024

It’s here y’all!

Fund-a-Thon 2024, hosted by the National Network of Abortion Funds, is upon us. And our goal? To fully fund our Catalysts for Reproductive Justice Fellowship.

The CRJ Fellowship trains and resources trusted community members from neighborhoods across the Deep South. 25 Fellows will learn the basics of grassroots organizing, comprehensive sex education, Emergency Contraceptive use, maternal health, and more. After their training, they’ll receive safer-sex kits and doses of emergency contraceptives to give to their neighbors, and they’ll become a trusted resource for Southern communities.

Ready to support the next cohort? Here’s how you can get started:

Build a team: Grab your mom, your sister, your neighbor, your high school crush, your book club, your Sunday school class— anyone who advocates for bodily autonomy! Choose your team members and click here to start fundraising to #Fund-a-Fellow from YHF’s 2024 Spring Cohort.

Go solo: If you’re more of a lone wolf, we got you! Click here to launch your solo fundraising campaign.

Or, you can donate today and help us start building community power in the South!

The bottom line: people shouldn’t be forced to go without the education or resources they need to live healthy lives. Our Fellows help fill a gap in communities left by abortion bans, health care deserts, high costs, long distances, stigma, and lack of education. Help empower communities today and support our Fellows as they begin their journey!

Good luck out there- and thank you!

P.S. Not that you need the extra incentive, but the top-earning Team and Solo Fundraiser will get an extra special prize from us 😉

Support Reproductive Justice in the Deep South

The Yellowhammer Fund envisions a society in which reproductive decisions are made free from coercion, shame, or state interference, a society in which individuals and communities have autonomy in making healthy choices regarding their bodies and their futures.
