I Fund, You Fund, We All Fund Abortion!

$250,000

A quarter of a million dollars.

That’s what it took to fund callers in 2019 – the vast majority of those occurring just in the last 5 months of the year.

We know that providing the resources pregnant people in the South need to be able to access their constitutionally protected right to a legal abortion is an endless task, and one that gets more daunting as more patients learn that we are there to help. As clinics close, as new restrictions pass, as conservative legislators refuse to allow comprehensive sex-ed or fund programs to help those who want birth control to obtain affordable contraception that meets their needs, more people are facing unwanted pregnancies and find they cannot terminate them without financial or logistical support.

$250,000

That’s what we spent in 2019, and what we are going to try to raise in this year’s Fund-a-thon — our biggest fundraiser of the year. But to do that, we will need your support every step of the way. Here’s how you can do it:

Donate: Every dollar will help us reach our goal. You can donate at our main fundraising site here.

Fund-raise: Join us by doing your own fundraiser, or even get with a team to fund-raise together. Once again you go to the main page, but this time click on “Become a Fundraiser” and pick “Individual” or “Team.” Fundraisers will get the opportunity to win swag or other perks!

Share: Graphics, links, anything you can spread on social media will help us out a ton. We need to get to as many people as possible if we want to be able to help as many callers as possible. You can post the link to our Fund-a-thon page – https://fund.nnaf.org/yellowfund2020 – to your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, emails or wherever you hang out.

We’ll have much more info soon, but for now, we launch! Let’s all fund abortion together – there are just too many people waiting for our help.

Support Reproductive Justice in the Deep South

The Yellowhammer Fund envisions a society in which reproductive decisions are made free from coercion, shame, or state interference, a society in which individuals and communities have autonomy in making healthy choices regarding their bodies and their futures.
